Boomu Women’s Group: These will give you a real Uganda experience of what the real Ugandan village life, raising children, preparing food for household, listen to historical stories, learn the peoples’ beliefs, fears and customs. This is located near Budongo forest on your way to Murchison Falls.
Buhoma Village Walk: This giving you the opportunity to meet the local community, it’s a three hour walk observing the local people traditions. Meet the traditional healer, taste the local beer brewing with bananas and millet, meet the women prepair food for their husbands, washing at the river, a local school and the Batwa Pygmy people. Location: Buhoma at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
The Batwa Trail: The Batwa Forest Trail is an all day walk in the shadows of the volcanoes of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park – seeing the forest through the eyes of its first people – the Batwa Pygmies – an amazing experience.
Ndere Troupe: These are traditional cultural dancers, they also Sing traditional songs, play their music – you have seen Africa alive.
Ruboni Village Walk: Ruboni located in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains- home of the Bakonzo People. It can easily accessed from Kibale Forest or Queen Elizabeth Park.
