Murchison Falls National Park

This water sport is conducted at the bottom of Murchison falls. While here, you will challenge yourself with heavy Nile perch and to take part in his amazing experience, you need $50 for a day and $150 for 4 days. This experience involves mainly use of baits and casting lures which gets you a chance to catch the Nile perch, cat fish and tiger fish. You need a 3 or 2.4 meter rod and you can get to this site by boat or walk down from the top of the falls.
Lake Victoria
This lake features as the second largest fresh water lake in the world. It covers about 69485 square kilometers and derives its name from Queen Victoria. Equally, it is ideal for sport fishing which gets you a chance to chance yourself with heavy Nile perch weighing between 10 and 80 kilograms.
Lake Mburo National Park
Situated suitably in western Uganda, Lake Mburo National Park is that one ideal site for sport fishing. This is conducted within Lake Mburo where 6 distinct fish species thrive including tilapia. For those of you who are heading off to eastern Uganda, Mount Elgon National Park or Sipi falls should be a must to visit for you to take part in sport fishing.. In Mount Elgon it is conducted within the three Sipi waterfalls that are found near national park. A safari to this site is an opportunity for anglers to challenge themselves with the rainbow fish species together with its striking colorful and fighting skills. It weighs about three kilograms. For anglers who are interested in sport fishing in Sipi falls and Mount Elgon, permits can be obtained at Sipi River Lodge but don’t forget to carry your gear.
